This is an update of this week's activities.

• Our fall sports banquet will be held on Monday, November 14th at 6:00 p.m.  Students that participated in a fall sport including football, softball, cross country, volleyball, or cheerleading have been invited to attend.  

• 8th grade students will travel to Cobb Energy Theatre on Monday for their fieldtrip.

• Our next tutoring session will be held after school on Monday until 5:30 p.m.  If you would like help with homework or any concept in math or ELA, please make plans to stay.  You must have a parent pick up at 5:30 p.m.

• Our academic team will participate in a meet at Villa Rica Middle on Monday.

• Wrestling will participate in their first meet of the season on Tuesday at Bay Springs Middle School.

• The yearbook committee will meet on Tuesday until 6:00 p.m.

• Jr. Beta will also meet on Tuesday until 4:30 p.m.

• The FBLA Fall Leadership conference will be held on Wednesday in Athens.

• Our boys basketball team will play a scrimmage game at Villa Rica Middle School on Thursday.  The game will begin at 5:30 p.m.

• The Jr. Beta Convention will be held Thursday and Friday in Macon.

• Midterms will go home with students on Thursday.

• Attention 8th grade students: A new connections class is being offered beginning 2nd semester this year. It will be a percussion class designed to teach snare, bass, xylophone, and cymbals to 8th grade students who want to march with the high school marching band next year.  It is open to our current band percussionists as well as students who have never played in the band before. If you are interested in being a part of this class, please see Ms. Martin in the band room on your way to buses or coming in from buses in the morning to pick up an information and permission form today or tomorrow.
