Subjects Taught
6th Grade

I have attended several schools in my twelve years of primary education, graduating from Clarke Central High School in 1987.  I went to the University of Georgia where I received a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture.  For the next several years I travelled around working on ranches training horses until my body got too old to continue.  I settled down in Temple in October of 2001 and went to West Georgia to get a degree in Education.  I am GACE certified to teach Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.

This is my sixth year teaching at Temple Middle School and each day I learn something new.

I was born in Atlanta, GA but my father joined the Army soon after and we were off on a multi - year adventure of moving every 6 months to 3 years.  The up side to that was being exposed to so many places, and on occasion, other countries.  I finally settled down when I met my husband and we moved to Temple In 2001. We have two daughters and too many other animals to count.  Teaching was not my first career, but it is my last and I am enjoying it very much.
