Subjects Taught
Co-Teaching, Special Education

I received my Bachelor's degree from Clayton State University in 1994.  I earned my Master's Degree from the State University of West Georgia in 1998.

I started my work in special education in 1995 as a paraprofessional and in 1997 I started teaching at Villa Rica High School as a special education teacher.  While there I taught Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior English.  I also taught U.S. History, Geography, General Science, Algebra, Career Skills, Study Skills, Health, and co-taught 9th Grade Lit/Comp, American Lit, 11th Grade Lit/Comp, and British Lit.  I stayed there until the 2012-2013 school year when I made a wonderful move to Temple Middle School.  I am very excited about the opportunities that I see for the students of Temple Middle School.

I am married and have a 10 year old son.  He is active in Fall Soccer, Cross country, Basketball, and Baseball.  We have a great time going to all of his events.
