I attended the University of West Georgia to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Math and Science. Upon graduating I began my teaching career in Paulding County and continued attending the University of West Georgia to obtain a master’s degree in Middle Grades math. While teaching, I obtained my gifted certification and attended Piedmont University and earned a specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I began teaching middle grades math in 2005.

I love teaching math and always enjoyed being in math class as a student. I hope to provide an atmosphere where students are active participants in their learning. I am honored to have the opportunity to teach at Temple Middle School. I am excited to see what this year holds.
