Hobbies & Family Life:
I enjoy sewing, embroidery, making crafts, traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
I have been married for over 30 years and have 3 grown sons that all grew up in Temple schools. Athough I did not grow up in Temple, my family tree began just down the road in Bremen. I grew up in Acworth, Ga and moved to Lithia Springs the summer before my freshman year, graduating from Lithia Springs High School. My family has deep roots in Georgia, dating back to the pre-civil war era. My grandmother grew up in Bremen, Ga and my great-aunt told me stories of seeing movies in the early 1900's at the Temple Theater.
Teaching is my second career and has also been the most rewarding. I love being able to give back to the community that my children grew up in.
